My brother has had his identity stolen. What type of lawyer does he need?
The key to financial power lies in your credit rating. If you plan to get a home loan, save money and get better credit starting now!
Someone took a $50,000 car loan out in his name. He went to the dealership and got a copy of the papers -- ALL LIES on the forms (from his office phone number, his home addres and her place of work, etc.). The dealership did not do a credit check or they would have found this out. He went to the Wilmington, DE police. Dealership in DE -- person who stole his identity is in PA. He also faxed the police report to GMAC.
1. Where should he follow this up -- PA or DE? Should he also go to the PA police?
2. No lawyer wants to take the case -- what kind of lawyer does he need? Criminal? Should he get a lawyer from DE or PA?
3. Is this a big deal or not? It seems not to be to me because he is being turned down by lawyers because they don't want to take the case. Where do you go to from here?

Normally if you don't have any protection setup before hand your going to have problems trying to find any information about how to sue them.
