I sign up on prosper.com to get a loan for my wedding and stuff. However when I answered questions to reveal my idenity it said that some of the questions were wrong and I need to fax over my ID and a void check. Well stupid old me went and opened up an new account and did the same thing over thinking I'm going to get a second chance to answer the question I got wrong again. It was like a trick question. I am currently recieving student loans for salie mae and in the question it said if I was making any payments to any of the company mentioned, Well I wasn;t making any payments to Salie mae so I said none of the above and it said that that I answer some questions wrong so I got all upset. Well like I said I opened a new account and it said that another was using the same SS# (and that was me) now I closed the first account and went to work on the other one and then the second account closed on its own. Now before I closed my 1st account I was told to fax over my ID and VOID check.
What should I do now?Forget the computer, you should call them directly or go in person to their office.
It is like a bank account, if you do not put the right information after a couple of times they will lock you .

BTW: Have you ever requested your credit report? This would be good to have. This is free online from companies like Equifax. The correct answers that you need to get your credit will be available through them. But you may have similar questions related to your Sallie Mae Loans...so be careful.
