you have to be very careful, you need to get the house inspected for ANY BUG and / or WATER damage because they can get you on word play.

Anyone who has bought a fixer-uper...?if most of the work is cosmetic you have lucked out buy books or go to the library and take out books on how to do it yourself projects you will save alot of money doibg it that way and it is not hard to paint or spackle so i think you guys got that down packed already and if you have friends through a barbacue and have friends come over and have a painting party.do fun stuff like that.

It is totally possible to fix things up yourself. Get some books from Home Depot or Lowe's and take it slow. We started off with paint and carpet which made a big difference.
