FAFSA/income taxes (long question)?
The key to financial power lies in your credit rating. If you plan to get a home loan, save money and get better credit starting now!
You need to have a talk with him and stress the importance of YOU being successful in school and that his information is absolutely necessary to you being independent of HIS income. Make a good argument, because until you are 24 or married, you are going to need his info to get any kind of federal financial aid (loans and all). Also encourage him to give you his 2007 income information (W2's) as well, as it is now time to file financial aid for NEXT academic year.
good luck.
FAFSA/income taxes (long question)?Just put down that he did NOT file for taxes in 2006, and maybe then you can continue. Also, usually your financial aid does not cover living expenses, it just covers tuition, if that's already paid for you might be screwed.
Good luck anyway!
