Wells Fargo is only in the West Coast.

Credit Unions are regional.

Your best bet would be a "National Bank" not all National Bank have offices in all states, but you will find them across the U.S. and if you use their locations you may not have to pay debit card fees (depending on the type of account). As far as I am aware, they all offer debit cards, which you can use to make online purchases.
