I have a bunch of payday loans out right now. I am standing facing a train wreck, and I am tied to the tracks. I tried to get a loan to pay for it, but I have high risk credit, and no assets, so I cant pay them off all in one lump sum. Can I put a "stop check" on the checks to payday loan places. I cant afford to pay them, and I dont want my bank account to get entirely screwed up. Is it legal for me to put a stop on the checks through my payday loans?? Help!

It is probably okay to put stop payments on the checks, but they will come after you for the money sooner or later, and at my bank it is like 20 bucks to stop payment on a check. Good Luck
