(im gonna try to make this short.and get to the point quick)

my mom and i moved to cali from texas..looking for a new life...my then boyfriend and now fiance..has been stationed in cali for the last year and a half..we came to visit him when he came back from deployment.loved it.and wanted to move....instead my mom asked him for money!!..to move!..as much as i hated it..and asked her not to..she did.the great guy he is.he said ok.took out a loan.we moved.and now living in a one bedroom all 3 of us.(for financial reasons)..well for the first week it was great.then she started to get attitude with us if we went to a movie.she is always in our business.and trys to controll where his and my money goes.we both have enough for bills and shes telling us to get another job when shes the one behind on everything.my fiance and i cant talk,watch,do anything without her throwing a tantrum about not going.or being included.when we invite and she says"im tired ill stay home"........................

Sounds like your mom is afraid of being alone so she tries to find ways to still be a "mom." Unfortunately you need to remind her that you're all grown up and can make decisions for yourself. Let her know you love her and that's why you're ALLOWING HER to stay with you guys, but that the mother-daughter relationship may not survive if she keeps prying. Ask why she acts so bitter. Maybe there is something that is upsetting her that she's afraid to talk about. Let her know that you're there for her, but that you still need her too, just in a more grown-up way!
