i recently had a couple of negative accounts removed from my credit report. theyre gone now but i need my credit score to go up so i can get an auto loan. Ive read a few answers on here where people refer to a re-score, someone mentioned they asked for a quick re-score but had to pay $50.
anyone have any more info on this??
Is there such a thing as a re-score??It usually takes around 60 days for your credit report to be cleaned up, but thre are other things tht affct your score such as how much debt you owe on unsecured loans (ie credit cards) compared to income. asically if you owe more than 50% of the total limit on your credit cards, how much you pay down each month etc, For example if you have a credit card with 80% of it's limit used and you only pay minimum payments that's considered a negative to lenders. Lenders take all this into account, not just your credit score.
