My car was repossesed on Monday morning.I had a son out of country and just got back on Saturday.I was going to get a loan Moday afternoon but unfortunately it was too late.I was very calm and cooperative but the repo agent seemed kind of mean.The car is an 06 Chrysler 300C I put 7k down payment and 5k in rims and grille. and I've payed over 12k in a 17month period wich is $700 a month. I've spent more than 24k on this gorgeous car I just had to be with my son and kind of disregarded my car but im home.I called Chrysler Financial and told them that I wanted my contract to be reinstated and I was going to make a quick collect payment through Western Union and pay what I owed.Chrysler F. said that they would not reinstate my contract that they would only accept the full balance which is 25k.I asked why? and Chrysler said that I had altercations with the repo agent and that there was a police report and that I attacked him with a baseball bat.Bottom line those statements are false.

Repossesion wrongful PLEASE HELP?I sympathize with you but, in all fairness, you brought it on yourself and created the opportunity for problems. I seriously doubt that Chrysler would reverse the repo even without the claimed altercation with the agent.
So, it's not about a baseball bat, it's about the fact that you defaulted on your contract and they did exactly what they said they would do (in your contract) if you defaulted. You signed the contract.
