You are understandably upset because Chrysler apparently has no sympathy for your special situation, but business is business and they are simply doing what they know they have to do.
Repossesion wrongful PLEASE HELP?Basically you are not going to want to hear this, but if you read the contract there probably is a statement in there that if you default on the loan they can call the entire balance. Which they have elected to do. They don't care the reason the loan was not being paid, they just want the payments.
If you had gotten to it before it was actually repo'd they might have worked out something. But unless you can come up with the entire balance you are probably going to loose the car. The real sad part is that they will sell it for much less than the loan balance(even with the modifications). You are still going to be on the hook for the difference. So if you owe 25K, they will probably sell it for 15K at most, you will still have to come up with the additional 10K, as an example.
If you made any threats against the repo agent you would be in jail now especially if there were cops there and there was a baseball bat. Chrysler does not need a reason other than you being delinquint to call the loan. If the statement turns out to be false they could still refuse to make other arrangements. If you talk to Chyrsler again ask for the Police Report number.
