I am looking to change careers. I am 34 years old and a home loan officer for a major bank. I have been at my current company for over 5 years and have been in telesales/call center ever since I graduated from college. I am so burned out from sales and although I don't know what to do next, I know I need a more stable job, so that means no sales.
I have found a few interesting job postings for Assistant Director at a library, Librarian and some other different positions. I would like to apply, but don't have experience. However, I know that I could do a good job because I am a quick learner.
How can I make my resume attractive to an employer? I have a bachelor's degree in English and computer and sales skills. I have been a team leader at a previous job, so I know that I work well with subordinates. How do I get this across on paper?
