I am in the process of taking that tax company to court. and also these tax rebate checks i am hearing that next year when you file your taxes you will have to pay the amount back is this true?...i am new to filing taxes this is only my second year. can that bank take money out of my bank account? someone with knowledge please help
Tax help please help? What you have is a private debt. Tax preparers and their partner banks loan money to their clients in anticipation of a refund. The IRS has nothing to do with these loans. Therefore, the IRS does not "intercept" refunds for these kinds of debt. Refunds are offset for IRS debts, other federal agencies's debts, back child support, and State debts.
You want a quick way to get your refund. Choose another preparer, efile your return, have a direct deposit to your bank account. If you do not have a bank account, then choose an IRS paper refund check. This way, you get ALL of your money. Review the chart in link to see when you can expect your refund , either direct deposit or check.
Tax help please help?OK, don't be so impatient. File your taxes electronically, and have it direct deposited into your own savings or checking account. Do it today and the refund should be there 2/8.
A large Part of the reason you're in this situation is not being willing to wait for your refund last year, and agreeing to pay $100+ to the bank for a refund anticipation loan. So you will not have th bank grabbing your money because the bank is NOT involved, it's just you and the IRS and your bank. However, this will probably dog you for some years until you get it resolved and may affect your ability to get credit.
