Ok... so I got into a huge fight with my parents and when i say huge I mean HUGE.
Im a senior in hs and i got accepted into UK and was always planning to go there..
Well.. my dad now is refusing to pay for me..
I HAVE TO GO TO COLLEGE! my future depends on it right??
Well, Am I able to take out student loans @ 17.. without a parent's signature??
Im edesperate I have to go!

Help!! College and financing and stuff.. My dad just refused !!!?You can take out federal student loans without a cosigner and at 17 years old. You will need to report your parents income on your fafsa. But by providing this they are not obligated to pay for you at all. But be forewarned, usually the limits to Stafford loans are pretty small (3,500 a year). so you may need to go to a community college if you are having to fund it yourself.

You can get student loans....depending.... But someone might have to cosign for you.
You can get financial aid and pell grants at 24.

My dad just refused !!!?sign up for all the financial aid you can @ your school. go to a website like http://www.fastweb.com to find scholarships you can apply for, and do as many as possible! you most likely have to wait to sign up for loans when you're 18, and it might be more difficult if your parents won't cosign. but, i'm sure it'll all work out. don't forget to submit your FAFSA as soon as you can; you'll have to get your parents to cooperate with you, but hopefully they will on that one.
