she's made very little monetary contribututions (no rent) during the relationship of 3 years and doesn't work. she cared for me during a serious surgery recovery. i found out that she has been putting my signature on checks made out to her from my account and has been making my life miserable so i'm ending it. i've asked her to move out almost a month ago. she's now asking me to loan her $xxx,000.00 so she can get a house to live in. i would be willing to help her get a place and pay a couple thousand to get her moved. she has made threats to say untrue things about me to make things difficult for me for me in the future. i don't think ending it on good terms will be possible. any suggestions or advice appreciated.

What can i do if an ex won't move out and threatens to destroy or burn property ? trying to keep it friendly.

First of all, what she did is considered a FELONY (by stealing your financial information, FRAUDULENTLY signing your name to the checks, and making purchases -- and it is ALSO Identity Theft), and given that she is already threatening to damage/destroy your property -- YOU need to call the police and (YES!) demand charges be pressed .. and by all means, take the CHECKS she FRAUDULENTLY SIGNED and turn them over to the POLICE so that she can be APPROPRIATELY PROSECUTED for the CRIMES!

YOU 'owe' her NOTHING ... she, however, has committed multiple felonies (according to this posting). DO get a restraining order, DO go to the police and DEMAND she be served with a TRESPASS ORDER, DO get some help to pack up HER personal belongings, and yes, DO get the help (and pay for about 3 months of rental locker storage) to put HER boxed up property from YOUR home so that she has AMPLE time to RETRIEVE her property from there.
