My husband and I were married when we were both in college (poor) he works while I stayed home with two small kids. After 5 years of marriage we are seperated. He now makes well over $200,000 while I'm in the process of opening a business (meaning I have loans instead of income) and no experience in the work place since I was in college. For now he is still paying all the bills and I still have our children, but we have no formal arangment.
Since alimony is outdated I'm scared to even contact a lawyer to see what my options are.
This is a non contested divorce, but I'm kind of feeling like I through out a winning lottery ticket. What can I expect post divorce?
