I've been applying for credit cards and loans for a while. I'm trying to buy a small hot dog cart that cost 2000. I tried a secure loan with my car and that failed through. I'm ready to start my business but I cant even get a chance. I thought my credit was good but maybe I dont have enough credit yet. Im really up set about this and I dont know where to turn now. Does anyone have any suggestions? I could work and save up money but every time I do that something always come up. I cant borrow from my family because they dont have the money like that. The business is a great idea at a great location. I have to do something????
Encouragement Please!!?Get a credit report and find out why you can't get a loan. Be careful when applying for too many credit cards all at once because too many inquires into your credit history can actually lower your credit score.
You are entitled to one free credit report from ALL three credit bureau's once a year. Here is the site you should use: annualcreditreport.com This is the first place I would start.
Don't use those sites that make you pay for enrollment or anything like that. You do not have to pay for your credit report once a year.
Another thing to think about is getting a small business loan instead of a personal loan. Sometimes banks look at that as less of a risk......sometimes. But getting any kind of a loan right now is hard because of the state of the economy. Banks are tightening their approval process.
