We are going to be doing it within the next month, but my husband and I have not filed our return in three years because we owe. We are not trying to avoid, just not top priority. I want to go back to school, but need a student loan and I just want a loan, no subsidized or anything. Can I get a student loan even though I have not filed a return in 3 years? Thanks

you can apply for a for financial aid. If you qualified for a subsidized loan, why not take it. When it ask for income. just used your last pay stub from 05 and indicate that you will not file

Hate to say it, but you will not be able to receive any help until the IRS has been paid off. If you were approved for help it is Government help and they will be more than happy to report you and take your cash. Also vise verse if you owe on loans they will take it from your taxes. Best advice..pay it off, get it out of the way.
