I'm currently looking to purchase a home-it will be our first. I have good credit, the only reason its not great it because I used a credit card to pay off a car lease and now it looks like i'm maxed out, but other than that and student loans I don't have any red marks. I pay on time EVERY month and pay more than the minimum on everything. His credit isn't great either because he had medical bills that hit his credit because he never got them and when he did and tried to get more info it was too late they were already reported. We want to try to get an FHA loan but are there certain areas or types of homes that we can use it on? Do the house sellers get to choose if someone can purchase their home with FHA or conventional loans? I have a realtor, i just haven't spoken with her much because I've been so busy. Thanks for the help.
