I graduated in sept. and accepted a job in my field that pays well above average for entry level, but I have to move. I am barely making any money right now, but will be making almost double when I start my job. I was just wondering if anyone has taken out a loan before to move. also, I am getting married and would like to start paying off some of my vendors, get decorations, etc. again, I could (we, my fiance and I) easily pay back this loan once I start my job and I am not looking for more than $6k total. would this be a good thing for me to do? the only other type of loan I have right now is student loans and my credit is wonderful.
Have you ever taken out a loan for this?If it's a large company, ask if they will pay for your moving expenses.
I've borrowed on my credit cards to pay for moving expenses.
Good luck.
Have you ever taken out a loan for this?Unsecured loans, even with good credit, are hard to get in amounts more than $2000. All you can do is contact your bank and see what kind of unsecured loan is available.
other than that you can ask your credit cards to extend their lmits and then get a cash advance, but be careful-- it can be a viscious cycle with credit cards!
Have you ever taken out a loan for this?Sounds like a bad idea to me. I wouldn't do it. If something happens to the job then you're in real trouble. A better idea would be to cut lifestyle, get yourself on a written budget and save money.
