Last year my credit was challenged in such a way that I could not get a home loan. I was default on a student loan, I had two car repos in 2003 & 2004. My credit was horrible. I am on the road to recovery. I make a decent salary (six figures), I pay my bills on time, yet, I still cannot get a home loan. I'm sick of living in an apartment. What must I do to secure a home loan in this perilous mortgage market?

rent cheap, pay off/settle old bills, work 2nd job, increase savings, delete credit slavery from ur life.
