Is it possible to get a loan without a cosigner? It's impossible for a 16 year old, and required to have a co-signer.
If you do not pay back that loan, then they would have to "sue" you for it, and being under 18, they can't sue you. Having a co-signer that's reliable to pay the loan .. They could sue them!
Is it possible to get a loan without a cosigner?no, not possible for you right now. you have to be at least 18 to enter into a legal contract, so if you need a student loan at this point, you might as well as mom and dad. actually anybody can cosign technically who qualifies, but many financial institutions will ask for somebody related.
Is it possible to get a loan without a cosigner? It will be very hard to get a loan without a cosigner. Im a freshman in college, and when i was applying for loans I got denied at least 15 times. If you have some form of credit it'll be more likely that you'll get the loan. So many you should think about getting a student credit card from chase or if at all possible try to find a co-signer. good luck
Is it possible to get a loan without a cosigner? As a parent of a college student, this is what I found. My daughter could only apply without a cosigner if she had a good credit history (used a credit card and kept it current or took out a loan and paid it back). Sometimes you can get a loan without a cosigner if you are old enough, but it will but at a much higher percentage rate of interest. We had to cosign her loan to keep the percentage rate lower. However, that is for US citizens and I do not know how it would work if you are not from this country. I know individual colleges also have grants and scholarships to help you pay for school.
