im currently enrolled in NIT. i have a car payment for another 2 year (6,000$) and now i also have a student loan (11,000$). i have 3 credit cards that are almost maxed out. (about 1,500 for all three cards) insurence is about 150 a month. and i can only work 3 days a week because of school. i plan to get a job for the week-ends. my current job i only make about 150 a week. i owe about 300$ to doctor bills. my credit is really good...its about 740. does anyone know if and what loans i can get. i want to get a loan to pay off my car for cheaper payments...anyone help me!
What kind of loan can i get and what kind should i get?i am a firm believer you never borrow money from peter to pay paul == i would suggest you quit charging and downsize your life style - at least till you get a weekend job and work on the cc and get them paid off -- pay the minimum to everyone else!!!
What kind of loan can i get and what kind should i get?I wouldn't worry too much about the student loans. You should check with your lending institution for them and ask about consolidating them.
If your credit score is that high it should be easier to get a loan provided that your income will support the payment. It may be tough to be honest.
If there is any equity in your car, you may be able to borrow against it to pay off some of the credit card debt.
Whatever you do, make certain that all of your debts stay current. Contact the doctors office and ask if you can get or stay on a payment plan. DON"T LET THOSE GO TO COLLECTION. Protect that credit.
