I got a letter from court this morning saying they want the full amount of just under 拢23000 from an unsecured loan that I jointly had. When we got the letter saying we were being taken to court, we had completed it with all our expensive on, & the judgement was made yesterday that they want the full amount that we can't pay, were do we go now.

CCJ can't pay the amount they want?You need to apply for a variation from the court which issued the judgement. If you are a homeowner the creditor may be trying to secure the debt on your house by making you default on the ccj.
If you aren't a homeowner you could consider bankruptcy - and be debt free inside a year. Otherwise you could consider an IVA - a normal debt management plan won't work.
CCJ can't pay the amount they want?Yep def go to CAB as no one in their right mind would expect you to pay of 拢23k in one go, they will sort it out into affordable payments but once you do have a payment plan make sure you keep up with the payments
