Credit Card question please:)?It depends on which bureau the credit card company uses, and whether or not your car loan reports to them. Also your time on job, your income/outgo, your time at residence all contribute. I would suggest you try going through your local bank, first. They know you, you have accounts there and your best bet IMO.
Most loans, cards included want your dti (debt to income) level at below 40%. Also if you have a bunch of credit that you just opened you may have trouble.
Pull your other 2 bureaus , or at least your Equifax, B/C I think that is the major one used by most large credit companies and you may have your answer. HTH

And applying credit often will hurt your credit score, so STOP applying more. Credit score is not SOLE factor to determine you get a credit card or not. How much do you make? Can you afford to pay all those debts that you arleady owe, that is also what the lenders are looking at. Yes, missing one payment does have negative effects on your approval for new credit card. you can have higher credit score by paying off your debt as much as you can. I hope you are not seeking another credit card to BUY MORE STUFFS. To be honest 687 is an OKAY credit score, but is not like really good, so focus on budgeting and pay off your debts (includes auto and unsecured loans). Good luck!!
